For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.
Forecast/Advisories on Alberto are issued under WMO header WTNT21

This Afternoon: S wind around 18 kt, with gusts as high as 30 kt. Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Seas 8 to 9 ft.

Tonight: S wind around 18 kt, with gusts as high as 27 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7pm. Seas 6 to 7 ft.

Memorial Day: S wind 13 to 18 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Isolated showers and thunderstorms before 3pm, then isolated showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Seas 4 to 6 ft.

Monday Night: S wind 16 to 18 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 7pm. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Tuesday: S wind 14 to 17 kt, with gusts as high as 24 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Tuesday Night: SSE wind 11 to 13 kt, with gusts as high as 19 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Wednesday: S wind 10 to 12 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Wednesday Night: SSE wind 8 to 10 kt becoming ESE after midnight. Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Thursday: SE wind 6 to 11 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.
