For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.

Saturday: ESE wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Dominant period 4 to 6 seconds.

Saturday Night: E wind around 15 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft building to 7 ft with occasional seas up to 9 ft. Dominant period 6 to 7 seconds.

Sunday: Tropical storm conditions possible. Showers and thunderstorms. Seas 8 to 9 ft with occasional seas up to 12 ft. Dominant period 7 to 9 seconds.

Sunday Night: Tropical storm conditions possible. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Memorial Day: SE wind 25 to 35 kt, with gusts as high as 45 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 11 to 12 ft with occasional seas up to 15 ft.

Monday Night: S wind 15 to 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 10 ft with occasional seas up to 13 ft subsiding to 7 ft with occasional seas up to 9 ft.

Tuesday: S wind around 15 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 5 to 7 ft with occasional seas up to 9 ft.

Tuesday Night: S wind around 15 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas around 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft.
