For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

Public Advisories on Alberto are issued under WMO header WTNT31 KNHC
and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.
Forecast/Advisories on Alberto are issued under WMO header WTNT21
KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCMAT1.

Tonight: SSE wind 10 to 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9pm. Seas around 3 ft.

Saturday: SE wind 6 to 14 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Saturday Night: SE wind around 14 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2am. Seas around 4 ft.

Sunday: SE wind 15 to 20 kt, with gusts as high as 28 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Sunday Night: SSE wind 18 to 21 kt, with gusts as high as 29 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Seas around 6 ft.

Memorial Day: SSE wind around 15 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Monday Night: S wind around 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 4 ft.

Tuesday: SSE wind around 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 3 ft.
