For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.

Late Afternoon: SE wind around 14 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Tonight: SE wind 13 to 16 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 9pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Saturday: ESE wind 15 to 18 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Dominant period 4 to 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop becoming choppy in exposed areas.

Saturday Night: SE wind around 20 kt, with gusts as high as 26 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas around 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Dominant period 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.

Sunday: SSE wind 21 to 23 kt, with gusts as high as 30 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas around 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Sunday Night: SSE wind 18 to 21 kt, with gusts as high as 27 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas 5 to 6 ft with occasional seas up to 8 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop becoming a light chop.

Memorial Day: S wind 15 to 19 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Monday Night: S wind 12 to 14 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Tuesday: S wind around 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 2 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
