For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1

Memorial Day: S wind 14 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Seas around 4 ft.
Monday Night: SSE wind 14 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 22 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 3 ft.
Tuesday: S wind around 13 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 3 ft.
Tuesday Night: SSE wind 6 to 9 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
Wednesday: SE wind around 9 kt becoming S in the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 2 ft.
Wednesday Night: S wind 6 to 8 kt becoming E after midnight. Isolated showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.
Thursday: ESE wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt in the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.
