For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
Disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the Yucatan Peninsula
and Belize are associated with a tropical wave. This system is
forecast to move west-northwestward and emerge over the extreme
southwestern Gulf of Mexico by late Thursday. Some development is
then possible on Friday near the east coast of Mexico before the
disturbance likely becomes absorbed by a cold front this weekend.

Wednesday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming E 5 to 8 kt in the morning. A slight chance of showers after 7am. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Dominant period 10 to 11 seconds. Intracoastal waters smooth becoming a light chop.
Wednesday Night: E wind 11 to 15 kt. A chance of showers, mainly after 2am. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Thursday: E wind 12 to 16 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Seas 3 to 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Dominant period 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Thursday Night: E wind around 17 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8pm. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Friday: E wind around 17 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Friday Night: E wind 13 to 16 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Saturday: SE wind around 12 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
