For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.
Forecast/Advisories on Alberto are issued under WMO header WTNT21
KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCMAT1.

Saturday: ESE wind 13 to 19 kt, with gusts as high as 26 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 9am. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Saturday Night: E wind 21 to 28 kt, with gusts as high as 37 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 4 ft building to 8 ft.

Sunday: SSE wind 19 to 28 kt, with gusts as high as 38 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 7 to 9 ft.

Sunday Night: S wind around 19 kt, with gusts as high as 28 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 5 to 6 ft.

Memorial Day: S wind 16 to 18 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Monday Night: SSE wind 14 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 24 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 4 ft.

Tuesday: S wind 15 to 17 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 4 ft.

Tuesday Night: S wind 12 to 16 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 4 ft.
