For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.
Forecast/Advisories on Alberto are issued under WMO header WTNT21
KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCMAT1.

Tonight: S wind 10 to 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then a slight chance of showers. Seas around 4 ft.

Saturday: SE wind 9 to 14 kt. A slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Saturday Night: SE wind around 15 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2am. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Sunday: SE wind 16 to 19 kt, with gusts as high as 26 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 5 to 6 ft.

Sunday Night: SSE wind 20 to 22 kt, with gusts as high as 30 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 7 ft.

Memorial Day: S wind around 18 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 6 ft.

Monday Night: S wind around 16 kt, with gusts as high as 22 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas around 5 ft.

Tuesday: S wind around 14 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 4 ft.
