For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
Disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the Yucatan Peninsula
and Belize are associated with a tropical wave. This system is
forecast to move west-northwestward and emerge over the extreme
southwestern Gulf of Mexico by late Thursday. Some development is
then possible on Friday near the east coast of Mexico before the
disturbance likely becomes absorbed by a cold front this weekend.

Wednesday Night: E wind 13 to 16 kt. A chance of showers, mainly after 1am. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Dominant period 3 to 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Thursday: E wind 14 to 17 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Seas 3 to 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Dominant period 4 to 5 seconds. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Thursday Night: E wind around 19 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8pm. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
Friday: E wind around 18 kt, with gusts as high as 24 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 4 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
Friday Night: E wind 15 to 17 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.
Saturday: SE wind 11 to 13 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop becoming a light chop.
Saturday Night: SE wind around 12 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas around 2 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop.
