For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Special Tropical Weather Outlook issued to discuss the area of low 
pressure over the central Atlantic.

A broad area of low pressure appears to be developing over the 
central Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles east-southeast of 
Bermuda.  This disturbance is producing a large area of showers and 
thunderstorms and gusty winds.  Additional development of this 
system is possible, and a subtropical depression could form tonight 
or on Saturday as it moves generally northward.  Development is not 
expected after that time due to unfavorable environmental 
conditions.  The next Special Tropical Weather Outlook will be 
issued by 9 PM EDT today, or earlier if necessary.

This Afternoon: SE wind around 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2pm. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Tonight: SE wind around 12 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 7pm and 2am. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Saturday: SE wind around 11 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop.

Saturday Night: SE wind around 9 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7pm. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Dominant period 3 to 4 seconds. Intracoastal waters a light chop becoming smooth.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SE 5 to 8 kt in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Seas around 1 ft. Intracoastal waters smooth becoming a light chop.

Sunday Night: SE wind 6 to 8 kt becoming SSW after midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers. Seas around 1 ft. Intracoastal waters a light chop becoming smooth.

Monday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NE 6 to 11 kt in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Intracoastal waters smooth becoming a light chop.

Monday Night: ENE wind 12 to 14 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 2 ft. Intracoastal waters a moderate chop.

Tuesday: E wind around 18 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 3 to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
