For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Alberto, located over the northwestern Caribbean
Sea just east of the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on 1
June.

and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1.
Forecast/Advisories on Alberto are issued under WMO header WTNT21
KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCMAT1.

Saturday: ESE wind 9 to 15 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Seas around 2 ft.

Saturday Night: ESE wind 19 to 25 kt, with gusts as high as 33 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 2 to 4 ft.

Sunday: SE wind 19 to 24 kt, with gusts as high as 33 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 5 to 6 ft.

Sunday Night: SSE wind around 17 kt, with gusts as high as 27 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Memorial Day: S wind 14 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 4 ft.

Monday Night: SSE wind 12 to 15 kt, with gusts as high as 23 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 3 ft.

Tuesday: S wind 14 to 18 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Tuesday Night: S wind 13 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 22 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
