AFTER A BRIEF LULL IN WINDS ON SUNDAY NIGHT...A RAPID INCREASE IN WINDS AND SEAS WILL OCCUR ON MONDAY BEHIND A DRY COLD FRONT. A PERIOD OF ADVISORY CONDITIONS...WITH GALE CONDITIONS POSSIBLE...WILL BEGIN MONDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Subtropical
Storm Alex, located a few hundred miles south-southwest of the
Azores.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on
June 1, 2016. During the off-season, Special Tropical Weather
Outlooks will be issued as conditions warrant.
