Synopsis: Increasing southerly winds ahead of a cold front moving across our area will result in advisory level conditions on Monday, with winds exceeding 20 kts and choppy seas. Winds and seas will subside a bit on Monday night and Tuesday, but small craft operators should still exercise caution under brisk northwesterly winds. Advisory level conditions could return on Tuesday night as a second cold front moves across our marine zones, with winds and seas gradually decreasing from Wednesday through late week.


Overnight: SE wind 5 to 10 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 to 2 seconds.

Monday: S wind 10 to 15 kt becoming SW in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 to 2 seconds.

Monday Night: NNW wind around 10 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8pm and 2am. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Tuesday: NW wind 5 to 10 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Tuesday Night: NNW wind 10 to 15 kt. Clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: NNW wind around 10 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: NW wind around 10 kt. Clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.
