Synopsis: A summer like pattern will prevail for the next couple of days with light onshore flow slightly augmented by the daytime sea breeze near the coast. Light offshore flow will arrive Saturday night as a weak cold front passes through the waters. As high pressure builds north of the region an easterly flow regime will set up with overnight and morning winds approaching cautionary levels by Monday night.
This Afternoon: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2pm. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Tonight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Saturday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8am. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Saturday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Partly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Special Tropical Weather Outlook issued to discuss the area of low
pressure over the central Atlantic.

A broad area of low pressure appears to be developing over the
central Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles east-southeast of
Bermuda. This disturbance is producing a large area of showers and
thunderstorms and gusty winds. Additional development of this
system is possible, and a subtropical depression could form tonight
or on Saturday as it moves generally northward. Development is not
expected after that time due to unfavorable environmental
conditions. The next Special Tropical Weather Outlook will be
issued by 9 PM EDT today, or earlier if necessary.
