Synopsis: A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE WATERS TODAY...CROSSING THE WATERS TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD NORTH OF THE REGION THIS WEEKEND AND THEN OFFSHORE OF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST EARLY NEXT WEEK.


This Afternoon: SW wind around 12 kt, with gusts as high as 18 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tonight: SW wind around 9 kt becoming WNW after midnight. Partly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: NNW wind 12 to 14 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday Night: N wind around 11 kt, with gusts as high as 17 kt. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday: NE wind 10 to 14 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. A slight chance of showers after 4pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday Night: ENE wind 5 to 10 kt becoming SE after midnight. A slight chance of showers before 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Subtropical
Storm Alex, located a few hundred miles south-southwest of the
Azores.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on
June 1, 2016. During the off-season, Special Tropical Weather
Outlooks will be issued as conditions warrant.
