Synopsis: The Atlantic ridge axis will set up well south of central Florida through late week as a weak frontal boundary settles south into north central Florida. As a result, scattered to numerous lightning storms will push offshore each afternoon and early evening, some of which will be strong.


Tonight: SW wind 5 to 10 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 8pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: SW wind 5 to 10 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely after 11am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Seas around 1 ft.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center has issued the final advisory on
Tropical Depression Three, which has dissipated offshore of the
Florida east coast.

A non-tropical low pressure area could form over the northern Gulf
of Mexico by late Wednesday or Thursday. Thereafter, conditions
could become marginally conducive for some development as it moves
northward to northeastward late this week.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.
