Synopsis: Southeasterly winds will begin to ramp up tonight, reaching 20 to 25 knots tomorrow with gusts to 34 knots possible. These increased wind speeds will drive up waves as well, which will rise to 6 to 9 feet by Thursday night. Winds and seas are expected to remain elevated through Saturday, then gradually fall below headline criteria and remain lower through early next week.


This Afternoon: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Partly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Tonight: ESE wind 5 to 10 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 to 2 seconds.

Thursday: ESE wind 10 to 15 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. A slight chance of showers after 1pm. Seas around 1 ft. Dominant period 2 seconds.

Thursday Night: SE wind 15 to 20 kt, with gusts as high as 30 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Dominant period 2 to 3 seconds.

Friday: SSE wind around 10 kt becoming SSW in the afternoon. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Seas around 1 ft.

Friday Night: SW wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 1 ft.

Saturday: W wind around 10 kt. A slight chance of rain. Seas around 1 ft.
