Synopsis: A weak coastal trough will provide a gentle to moderate northerly breeze into Wednesday, then winds will gradually shift to southeast by Thursday as high pressure moves off the mid Atlantic coast. An offshore wind flow will develop Thursday night and increase on Friday as low pressure moves along the northern Gulf Coast and across north Florida.
Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: N wind 5 to 10 kt becoming NE in the afternoon. A chance of showers, mainly after 8am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: NE wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: ESE wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: ESE wind around 10 kt becoming S after midnight. A chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: WSW wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

A large area of cloudiness and showers over the central tropical
Atlantic Ocean is associated with a surface trough. This trough is
expected to move slowly northward over the next few days into an
area where environmental conditions are forecast to be more
conducive for development. A tropical or subtropical depression
could form over the weekend while the system turns westward well to
the northeast of the Lesser Antilles.
