Synopsis: TROPICAL DEPRESSION NINE, LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST GULF OF MEXICO, IS FORECAST TO STRENGTHEN AS IT MOVES NORTHWEST TONIGHT. THE LATEST NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER TRACK THEN TAKES THE CENTER OF THE TROPICAL CYCLONE NORTH TO NORTHEAST TOWARD THE BIG BEND AREA OF FLORIDA FROM MID TO LATE WEEK. A MODERATE TO FRESH EAST TO SOUTHEAST BREEZE WILL BECOME SOUTH WEDNESDAY AND SOUTHWEST THURSDAY. POOR TO HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT OPERATION CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH LATE WEEK.


Overnight: S wind around 10 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: SSW wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. Seas 3 ft subsiding to 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: SSW wind around 10 kt. Scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Thursday: SSW wind 10 to 15 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Seas 1 to 2 ft.
