For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane
Edouard, located several hundred miles east-southeast of Bermuda.
A tropical wave is forecast to move off the west coast of Africa on
Wednesday and produce an area of low pressure over the far eastern
Atlantic. Conditions appear conducive for some development of this
system by late this week while it moves west-northwestward.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...20 percent.

SYNOPSIS
A WEAK HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE ACROSS THE WATERS WILL
SHIFT SLOWLY SOUTHWARD THROUGH MID WEEK AHEAD OF A WEAK FRONTAL
BOUNDARY. THE BOUNDARY IS FORECAST TO DRIFT THROUGH CENTRAL
FLORIDA BY DAYBREAK THURSDAY AND GRADUALLY DISSIPATE OVER THE
SOUTH PENINSULA. INCREASING SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL
PRECEDE THE BOUNDARY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. LONG PERIOD SWELLS FROM
DISTANT HURRICANE EDOUARD WILL BEGIN TO IMPACT THE EAST FLORIDA
COAST LATE TODAY AND PRODUCE DANGEROUS CONDITIONS NEAR INLETS
DURING THE OUTGOING TIDE.
