Synopsis: High pressure will be East of area waters Tonight. A cold front will move Southeast across area waters Tuesday afternoon and evening. High pressure will build to the North Wednesday, as a wave of low pressure develops over the Northeastern Gulf. This wave will move Northeast across area waters Wednesday night into Thursday. High pressure will build to the West Thursday night and to the Northwest Friday into the weekend.
Overnight: SSW wind around 8 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas around 2 ft.

Tuesday: SSW wind 5 to 7 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Tuesday Night: NW wind 7 to 13 kt becoming NNE after midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Wednesday: NNE wind 14 to 17 kt, with gusts as high as 24 kt. A chance of showers. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Wednesday Night: NE wind 10 to 18 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Thursday: SW wind 6 to 11 kt becoming W in the afternoon. Showers likely. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a tropical wave
that is moving through the Leeward Islands has continued to become
less organized tonight. Environmental conditions are not expected
to become significantly better for development, and the system is
also expected to interact with the islands of the Greater Antilles
during the next few days. Therefore, the potential for this
system to become a tropical or subtropical cyclone continues to
decrease. Regardless of development, this system is forecast to
bring locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands, the
Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico over the next few days.
