For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Fred, located several hundred miles west-northwest of the
Cape Verde Islands.

A tropical wave is currently moving off of the west coast of
Africa. This system has some potential for slow development
as it moves westward at 15 to 20 mph across the tropical Atlantic
over the next several days.

A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO MOVE
FROM JUST OFFSHORE FROM THE GEORGIA COAST TO WELL OFFSHORE FROM
EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON. WESTERLY WINDS TODAY
WILL SWITCH TO THE NORTH TO NORTHEAST OVER THE UPCOMING WEEKEND
WITH WIND SPEEDS GENERALLY 10 KNOTS OR LESS. THE PRESSURE GRADIENT
WILL RELAX FURTHER ON MONDAY WITH VARIABLE WINDS AT 5 TO 10 KNOTS
ACROSS THE EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA ATLANTIC WATERS. AN ONSHORE SEA
