Synopsis: High pressure centered over our region this evening will move northeastward overnight and will become absorbed by a stronger high pressure center that will be moving off the New England coast by late Thursday. Meanwhile, low pressure will organize along the Red River Valley of northern Texas on Thursday night, lifting a warm front northward into the northeast Florida waters, resulting in strengthening southeasterly winds. This warm front will lift north of the Georgia waters early on Friday morning as low pressure pivots northeastward from the lower Mississippi Valley into the Tennessee Valley. A strong cold front will cross our local waters by early Saturday morning, with low pressure moving off the Carolina coast by Sunday afternoon.
This Afternoon: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tonight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Increasing clouds. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming E 5 to 8 kt in the morning. A chance of showers, mainly between noon and 2pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: SSE wind 8 to 10 kt. A chance of showers, mainly after 4am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: S wind 11 to 14 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 10am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday Night: S wind 8 to 10 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then showers likely. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: WSW wind 9 to 11 kt, with gusts as high as 17 kt. A chance of showers, mainly before 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.
