For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Ana, located about 170 miles south-southeast of
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
Unless conditions warrant, this will be the last Special Tropical
Weather Outlook issued until June 1, 2015, which marks the first
day of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.

1050 AM EDT FRI MAY 29 2015

SYNOPSIS
A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE OVER THE WESTERN ATLANTIC
WILL WEAKEN THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND BUT WILL MAINTAIN A GENTLE
TO MODERATE EASTERLY BREEZE ACROSS THE LOCAL WATERS. THE EASTERLY
FETCH WILL EXTEND WELL INTO THE ATLANTIC AND WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH A
SMALL TO MODERATE SWELL INTO THE WATERS. POOR CONDITIONS FOR SMALL
CRAFT OPERATION WILL CONTINUE FOR MUCH OF THE WEEKEND BUT WILL
SLOWLY IMPROVE THROUGH THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK AS THE RIDGE
CONTINUES TO WEAKEN AND ONSHORE FLOW DIMINISHES.
