Synopsis: A cold front will move through the local waters tonight which will allow the winds to shift to the west northwest as the night progresses. These increasing northwesterly winds will continue on Monday. Wind speeds and wave heights should remain just below advisory level criteria tonight, however, cautionary conditions will occur over portions of the waters tonight and into Monday. Marine conditions should improve during the middle of the week across all of the local waters.


Tonight: SW wind 9 to 11 kt becoming NW after midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm, then a slight chance of showers between 10pm and 4am. Bay waters a light chop.

Monday: NW wind around 9 kt. Partly sunny. Bay waters a light chop.

Monday Night: NW wind around 10 kt. Mostly clear. Bay waters a light chop.

Tuesday: NNW wind 10 to 12 kt. Sunny. Bay waters a light chop.

Tuesday Night: N wind 8 to 11 kt. Mostly clear. Bay waters a light chop.

Wednesday: N wind around 9 kt becoming E in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Bay waters a light chop.

Wednesday Night: SE wind around 9 kt. A slight chance of showers. Bay waters a light chop.

Thursday: SE wind 8 to 10 kt. A slight chance of showers. Bay waters a light chop.

Thursday Night: SE wind around 11 kt. A chance of showers. Bay waters a light chop.

This is the last regularly scheduled Tropical Weather Outlook of
the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season. Routine issuance of the
Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on June 1, 2019. During the
off-season, Special Tropical Weather Outlooks will be issued as
conditions warrant.
