Synopsis: Generally benign marine conditions are forecast today with northeasterly swell bringing an increase in waves Sunday into Monday. A Small Craft Advisory will likely be needed for the Atlantic starting sometime tomorrow for waves, particularly in the Gulf Stream. Swell and waves subside around midweek.


This Afternoon: SSE wind around 9 kt. Sunny. Bay waters a light chop.

Tonight: S wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Partly cloudy. Bay waters smooth.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SE 5 to 7 kt in the afternoon. A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5pm. Bay waters smooth.

Sunday Night: ESE wind around 6 kt becoming ENE in the evening. A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8pm and 11pm, then a slight chance of showers. Bay waters smooth.

Monday: E wind 7 to 11 kt. A chance of showers. Bay waters a light chop.

Monday Night: E wind around 9 kt. Partly cloudy. Bay waters a light chop.

Tuesday: ESE wind 7 to 9 kt. Sunny. Bay waters a light chop.

Tuesday Night: SSE wind 5 to 7 kt becoming SSW after midnight. Mostly clear. Bay waters smooth.

Wednesday: WSW wind around 6 kt. Sunny. Bay waters smooth.

This is the last regularly scheduled Tropical Weather Outlook of
the 2019 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Routine issuance of the
Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on June 1, 2020. During the
off-season, Special Tropical Weather Outlooks will be issued as
conditions warrant.
