Synopsis: HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE REGION THROUGH TOMORROW NIGHT...WITH LIGHT WINDS AND SEAS AND THE AFTERNOON SEA BREEZE TURNING WINDS ONSHORE AGAIN DURING THE AFTERNOON. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...MAINLY OVER THE NORTHERN WATERS. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE REGION SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. THIS WILL LEAD TO MORE VIGOROUS THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY OVER THE WATERS...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS. BREEZY SOUTH WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE WEST BECOMING STRONG AND GUSTY BEHIND THE FRONT LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. THIS MAY GENERATE A PROLONGED PERIOD OF ADVISORY LEVEL WINDS AND SEAS OVER ALL THE WATERS...WITH DANGEROUS BOATING CONDITIONS. WINDS AND SEAS WILL GRADUALLY IMPROVE LATE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE SLOWLY BUILDS IN OVER THE GULF WATERS.


Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Patchy fog after 4am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSW around 6 kt in the afternoon. Patchy fog before 8am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: S wind around 6 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: SSE wind 7 to 10 kt. Partly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday Night: S wind around 10 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: S wind 10 to 14 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday Night: S wind 13 to 15 kt, with gusts as high as 21 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday: S wind 15 to 19 kt, with gusts as high as 27 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Sunday Night: SW wind 20 to 23 kt becoming W after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 32 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
