Synopsis: Strong high pressure centered off the Mid-Atlantic coast will sink southward while gradually weakening through Friday. Breezy onshore winds will prevail this afternoon and will weaken overnight as this high pressure center builds directly over our waters. High pressure will then sink southward over the Florida peninsula this weekend, with light offshore winds each morning shifting to onshore in the near shore waters with the sea breeze development each afternoon, followed by evening southerly wind surges this weekend through early next week.
Tonight: SE wind 5 to 12 kt, with gusts as high as 18 kt. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming E 5 to 9 kt in the morning. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday Night: SE wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming E 5 to 9 kt in the morning. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday Night: SE wind 5 to 9 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming ESE 6 to 11 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 17 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Subtropical
Storm Andrea, located about 300 hundred miles southwest of Bermuda.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on
June 1, 2019. During the off-season, Special Tropical Weather
Outlooks will be issued as conditions warrant.
