For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Storm Ana, located about 170 miles south-southeast of
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
Unless conditions warrant, this will be the last Special Tropical
Weather Outlook issued until June 1, 2015, which marks the first
day of the Atlantic Hurricane Season.

under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1. Forecast/Advisories on Ana are issued

SYNOPSIS

LIGHT NORTH WINDS OVER 1 TO 2 FOOT SEAS TODAY. A TIGHTENING
PRESSURE GRADIENT BETWEEN AN EASTERN ATLANTIC HIGH AND LOWER
WESTERN GULF PRESSURE WILL STRENGTHEN WEEKEND WINDS AND INCREASE
SEA HEIGHT...SURF...AND SWELL. CAUTION LEVEL WINDS SATURDAY AND
SUNDAY AS WINDS VEER FROM EAST SATURDAY TO MORE SOUTHEAST SUNDAY.
SEA HEIGHTS WILL INCREASE TO 1 TO 3 FEET SATURDAY TO 2 TO 4
SUNDAY. SLIGHTLY HIGHER SURF BY SUNDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND AS
THE FETCH TURNS MORE ONSHORE. THIS FETCH WILL ALSO PUSH IN A
