Synopsis: AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF CAUTIONARY CONDITIONS IS EXPECTED THROUGH FRIDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE REGION BEHIND LOW PRESSURE OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC COAST. BY THE WEEKEND LIGHT WINDS AND LOW SEAS ARE EXPECTED TO PREVAIL ONCE AGAIN.
Overnight: NW wind 10 to 15 kt. Clear. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Thursday: NW wind 10 to 15 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Thursday Night: NNW wind 10 to 15 kt. Clear. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

Friday: NW wind 10 to 15 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less. Dominant period 1 second.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Subtropical
Storm Alex, located a few hundred miles south-southwest of the
Azores.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on
June 1, 2016. During the off-season, Special Tropical Weather
Outlooks will be issued as conditions warrant.
