Synopsis: Ahead of the approaching cold front expecting a continuation of South winds 10-15 knots and seas 2-5 ft Today, becoming Southwest on Saturday, then shifting winds Sunday/Sunday Night with the cold frontal passage. High pressure develops well North of the area Monday. Northeast winds will develop Sunday Night, with East to Northeast winds 15-20 knots and building seas Monday.
This Afternoon: SE wind 8 to 10 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Seas around 1 ft.

Tonight: SSE wind 5 to 7 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 3am. Seas around 1 ft.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSE around 6 kt in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before noon, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between noon and 4pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Seas around 1 ft.

Saturday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then a slight chance of showers. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday: W wind 5 to 7 kt becoming ENE in the afternoon. A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 8am. Seas around 1 ft.

Sunday Night: NE wind 5 to 7 kt. A slight chance of showers. Seas around 1 ft.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Special Tropical Weather Outlook issued to discuss the area of low
pressure over the central Atlantic.

A broad area of low pressure appears to be developing over the
central Atlantic Ocean several hundred miles east-southeast of
Bermuda. This disturbance is producing a large area of showers and
thunderstorms and gusty winds. Additional development of this
system is possible, and a subtropical depression could form tonight
or on Saturday as it moves generally northward. Development is not
expected after that time due to unfavorable environmental
conditions. The next Special Tropical Weather Outlook will be
issued by 9 PM EDT today, or earlier if necessary.
