Synopsis: The Atlantic high pressure to the north and a weak low pressure trough offshore southwest Florida will combine to produce increasing east to southeast flow through Memorial Day, along with poor boating conditions. Deep moisture will overspread the area from the south and produce a high coverage of rain and storms Monday into Tuesday, with locally gusty winds and higher seas near storms. The Atlantic ridge will rebuild over the southeast U.S. coast from mid to late week.


Overnight: ESE wind around 15 kt. Showers likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 5am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Memorial Day: SE wind around 15 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Seas 1 ft or less.

Monday Night: ESE wind 10 to 15 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday: S wind around 10 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday Night: SSE wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: S wind 5 to 10 kt becoming ESE in the afternoon. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.
