Synopsis: A high pressure ridge will retreat eastward over the Atlantic ahead of a cold front which will push through the waters late Tuesday and Tuesday night. Behind the front Wednesday, expect a surge of northwest winds and building seas, which will gradually subside through late week.


Tonight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday: S wind 5 to 15 kt. A slight chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday Night: S wind 5 to 10 kt becoming W after midnight. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: NNW wind around 10 kt. A chance of showers before noon. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: NNW wind 10 to 15 kt. Partly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: NNE wind around 15 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: NE wind around 10 kt. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: ENE wind around 10 kt. Mostly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.
