For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:
An elongated area of low pressure located midway between the west
coast of Africa and the Cape Verde Islands continues to produce
disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Upper-level winds are
expected to become increasingly unfavorable for development, and
tropical cyclone formation appears unlikely. This low should move
generally northwestward and could bring heavy rainfall to portions
of the Cape Verde Islands later this weekend.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFFSHORE OF NORTH FLORIDA
WILL LIFT NORTH AND NORTHEAST AWAY FROM THE REGION TONIGHT AND
EARLY SUNDAY. A WEAK LINGERING LOW PRESSURE TROUGH WILL DISSIPATE
OVER THE STATE ON SUNDAY. A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL APPROACH NORTH
FLORIDA BY MONDAY NIGHT...AND THEN GET BRIDGED BY STRONG HIGH
PRESSURE TO THE NORTH. THIS WILL RESULT IN FRESHENING ONSHORE FLOW
BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
