Synopsis: A warm front will lift north of the waters through tonight as high pressure from the Atlantic extending west across the central peninsula remains in place through Wednesday. A cold front will move south through the waters during Thursday and Thursday night with increasing northwest to north winds and building seas with hazardous marine conditions expected in its wake on Friday. Lighter winds and lower seas will return to the waters during the weekend as high pressure builds in over the Gulf in the wake of the front.
Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers. Areas of fog after 4am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSW 5 to 7 kt in the morning. A slight chance of showers between 10am and 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Areas of fog before 10am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday Night: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NNE around 6 kt after midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then a slight chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: NE wind 6 to 8 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: NE wind 6 to 9 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: S wind 6 to 8 kt becoming WNW in the afternoon. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: NW wind 8 to 11 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: NNW wind around 9 kt. Sunny. Seas around 1 ft.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

A tropical wave that is interacting with an upper-level trough
continues to produce a large area of disturbed weather that
extends from near the Leeward Islands northeastward over the
tropical Atlantic for several hundred miles. This system has
not become any better organized over the past 24 hours, and
environmental conditions may not become as conducive as
previously anticipated. Therefore, the potential for this system
to become a tropical or subtropical cyclone has decreased.
Regardless of development, this system is forecast to bring locally
heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands, the Virgin
Islands, and Puerto Rico over the next few days.
