Synopsis: High pressure off the Carolina coast will sink southward while gradually weakening today and will then become centered directly over our waters tonight and Saturday. High pressure will then sink southward over the Florida peninsula late this weekend and next week, with light offshore winds each morning shifting to onshore in the near shore waters with the sea breeze development each afternoon, followed by evening southerly wind surges this weekend through early next week.
Today: E wind 5 to 10 kt. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft.

Tonight: ESE wind 6 to 8 kt becoming SSW after midnight. Clear. Seas around 2 ft.

Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming E 5 to 9 kt in the morning. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft.

Saturday Night: SE wind 6 to 9 kt becoming S after midnight. Clear. Seas around 2 ft.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming ESE 5 to 9 kt in the afternoon. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Subtropical
Storm Andrea, located about 300 hundred miles southwest of Bermuda.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on
June 1, 2019. During the off-season, Special Tropical Weather
Outlooks will be issued as conditions warrant.
