Synopsis: HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OVER THE REGION THROUGH TOMORROW NIGHT...WITH LIGHT WINDS AND SEAS AND THE AFTERNOON SEA BREEZE TURNING WINDS ONSHORE AGAIN DURING THE AFTERNOON. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...MAINLY OVER THE NORTHERN WATERS. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE REGION SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY. THIS WILL LEAD TO MORE VIGOROUS THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY OVER THE WATERS...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS. BREEZY SOUTH WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE WEST BECOMING STRONG AND GUSTY BEHIND THE FRONT LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY. THIS MAY GENERATE A PROLONGED PERIOD OF ADVISORY LEVEL WINDS AND SEAS OVER ALL THE WATERS...WITH DANGEROUS BOATING CONDITIONS. WINDS AND SEAS WILL GRADUALLY IMPROVE LATE MONDAY INTO TUESDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE SLOWLY BUILDS IN OVER THE GULF WATERS.


Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Areas of fog after 4am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming S around 6 kt in the afternoon. Areas of fog before 8am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: S wind around 6 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: S wind 6 to 10 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday Night: S wind around 10 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday: S wind 11 to 13 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.

Saturday Night: S wind 11 to 14 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday: SSW wind 14 to 16 kt, with gusts as high as 22 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 1 ft or less.

Sunday Night: SW wind 17 to 21 kt becoming W after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas around 1 ft.
