Synopsis: Moderate southerly winds will prevail overnight and Tuesday behind a warm front positioned just north of Florida. A cold front is forecast to stall near or over north central Florida Tuesday night and Wednesday, then surge south and east of the waters Thursday into Thursday night. Winds will shift to the northwest behind the front and increase with building seas especially in the Gulf Stream Friday.


Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: S wind 5 to 10 kt becoming W in the afternoon. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a tropical wave
that is moving through the Leeward Islands has continued to become
less organized tonight. Environmental conditions are not expected
to become significantly better for development, and the system is
also expected to interact with the islands of the Greater Antilles
during the next few days. Therefore, the potential for this
system to become a tropical or subtropical cyclone continues to
decrease. Regardless of development, this system is forecast to
bring locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands, the
Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico over the next few days.
