Synopsis: High pressure east of Florida will generate a light to gentle southeasterly breeze today with favorable boating conditions continuing. Conditions will become marginal to poor overnight as a low pressure system approaches from the west, allowing winds to veer to the southwest while increasing to 15 to 20 knots. Isolated to scattered lightning storms will return Friday afternoon and evening as the low pulls a weak frontal boundary through the Florida peninsula. Winds will quickly veer to the north-northwest behind the front before veering to onshore by daybreak Saturday.

Tonight: SE wind around 10 kt becoming SSW after midnight. Mostly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: SSW wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday Night: WSW wind 10 to 15 kt becoming NW after midnight. A chance of showers before 8pm. Seas 1 ft or less.
