Synopsis: The Atlantic high pressure ridge, with its axis across north Florida will slide eastward through tonight as a weak low level trough lifts north and northeast across Florida. Expect scattered to numerous showers and storms across the local waters through tonight. A trailing ridge axis will slip south of central Florida from Tuesday into late week. The resulting offshore flow will increase the risk for offshore moving lightning storms, some of which may be strong through mid week.


This Afternoon: SSE wind around 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tonight: SSE wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm, then a slight chance of showers between 11pm and 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday: SSW wind around 10 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday Night: WSW wind around 10 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: SW wind around 10 kt. A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Seas 1 ft or less.
