Synopsis: Winds will gradually diminish into this evening as they veer to the northeast and then east. However, seas will be slower to subside, especially over the Gulf Stream. Winds will turn southerly and increase late in the week ahead of the next approaching strong cold front. This front will push through the region early Saturday, preceded by a fast moving band of showers and possibly some strong storms. A second reinforcing frontal boundary will push through the area Saturday night.


This Afternoon: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Mostly sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tonight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: SE wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers, mainly after 11am. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Thursday Night: SSE wind around 10 kt. A slight chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday: SSE wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Friday Night: S wind around 10 kt becoming WSW after midnight. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.
