Synopsis: A warm front will lift north of the waters through tonight as high pressure from the Atlantic extending west across the central peninsula remains in place through Wednesday. A cold front will move south through the waters during Thursday and Thursday night with increasing northwest to north winds and building seas with hazardous marine conditions expected in its wake on Friday. Lighter winds and lower seas will return to the waters during the weekend as high pressure builds in over the Gulf in the wake of the front.
Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday: S wind 5 to 7 kt becoming SW in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Tuesday Night: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming NNE 5 to 7 kt after midnight. A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then a slight chance of showers. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: NE wind around 8 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: NE wind 7 to 9 kt. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1am. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: S wind 7 to 9 kt becoming WNW in the afternoon. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday Night: NW wind 10 to 12 kt, with gusts as high as 18 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas around 1 ft.

Friday: NNW wind around 10 kt. Sunny. Seas around 1 ft.

Friday Night: N wind 8 to 10 kt. Mostly clear. Seas around 1 ft.

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

Shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a tropical wave
that is moving through the Leeward Islands has continued to become
less organized tonight. Environmental conditions are not expected
to become significantly better for development, and the system is
also expected to interact with the islands of the Greater Antilles
during the next few days. Therefore, the potential for this
system to become a tropical or subtropical cyclone continues to
decrease. Regardless of development, this system is forecast to
bring locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands, the
Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico over the next few days.
