For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Subtropical
Storm Alex, located a few hundred miles south-southwest of the
Azores.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Routine issuance of the Tropical Weather Outlook will resume on
June 1, 2016. During the off-season, Special Tropical Weather
Outlooks will be issued as conditions warrant.

Public Advisories on Alex are issued under WMO header WTNT31 KNHC
and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT1. Forecast/Advisories on Alex are

AND NORTH COASTAL GEORGIA...
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD EAST FROM THE LOWER GULF COAST REGION
THROUGH TONIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE ON THURSDAY WILL GIVE WAY TO A WEAK
AREA OF LOW PRESSURE AND ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT THURSDAY NIGHT.
BEHIND THIS SYSTEM AN  ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE
REGION BY SATURDAY. HIGH PRESSURE  WILL THEN REMAIN IN CONTROL UNTIL
EARLY NEXT WEEK WHEN THE NEXT FRONTAL  SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE
REGION.
