For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on newly formed
Subtropical Depression Five located several hundred miles
south-southeast of Cape Race, Newfoundland.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

WMO header WTNT35 KNHC and under AWIPS header MIATCPAT5.

SYNOPSIS

A surface front will linger over Georgia today as high pressure
across south Florida begins to build northward. High pressure will
build across north Florida Thursday and Friday, then begin to shift
back south of the waters this weekend as another front moves 
south into Georgia.
