The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Nestor, located over the central Gulf of Mexico.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Tonight: Tropical storm conditions. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Seas 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft building to 10 ft with occasional seas up to 13 ft. Dominant period 10 seconds.

Saturday: Tropical storm conditions expected. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Seas 8 ft with occasional seas up to 10 ft subsiding to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Dominant period 11 seconds decreasing to 6 seconds.

Saturday Night: NW wind 5 to 15 kt becoming N after midnight. A slight chance of showers before 1am. Seas 2 to 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Dominant period 7 to 8 seconds.

Sunday: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Sunny. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Dominant period 7 seconds.

Sunday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Mostly clear. Seas around 1 ft.

Monday: SSE wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Monday Night: S wind around 10 kt becoming SW after midnight. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1am. Seas around 2 ft.

Tuesday: W wind 10 to 15 kt becoming N in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft.

Tuesday Night: N wind around 15 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 2 ft.
