The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Potential
Tropical Cyclone Sixteen, located over the southwestern Gulf of
Mexico.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.

Today: ENE wind 11 to 16 kt becoming SE in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Seas around 2 ft.

Tonight: SSE wind 16 to 21 kt increasing to 23 to 28 kt after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 41 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 4 ft building to 8 ft.

Saturday: WSW wind 18 to 28 kt, with gusts as high as 41 kt. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Seas 11 ft subsiding to 8 ft.

Saturday Night: W wind 10 to 17 kt, with gusts as high as 25 kt. Showers likely, mainly before 8pm. Seas 6 to 7 ft.

Sunday: W wind 5 to 7 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt in the morning. A chance of showers. Seas 4 to 5 ft.

Sunday Night: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming E 5 to 7 kt after midnight. A slight chance of showers after 2am. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Monday: ESE wind 7 to 9 kt becoming S in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 8am and 2pm. Seas around 2 ft.

Monday Night: SSW wind 6 to 8 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 1 ft.

Tuesday: S wind around 8 kt becoming WSW in the afternoon. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 1 ft.
