The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Nestor, located over the central Gulf of Mexico.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Tonight: Tropical storm conditions. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Seas 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft building to 12 ft with occasional seas up to 15 ft. Dominant period 4 seconds increasing to 11 seconds.
Saturday: Tropical storm conditions possible. Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Seas 8 ft with occasional seas up to 10 ft subsiding to 5 ft with occasional seas up to 6 ft. Dominant period 6 seconds.
Saturday Night: N wind 5 to 15 kt. A slight chance of showers before 1am. Seas 2 to 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Dominant period 7 to 8 seconds.
Sunday: NE wind 5 to 10 kt becoming SSW in the afternoon. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 7 seconds.
Sunday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Mostly clear. Seas around 2 ft.
Monday: SE wind 10 to 15 kt becoming S in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Seas around 2 ft.
Monday Night: S wind around 10 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1am. Seas around 2 ft.
Tuesday: W wind 10 to 15 kt becoming N in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft.
Tuesday Night: N wind around 15 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft.
