The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical
Storm Nestor, located over the central Gulf of Mexico.
Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 5 days.

Tonight: Tropical storm conditions. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Seas 7 ft with occasional seas up to 9 ft building to 17 ft with occasional seas up to 22 ft. Dominant period 6 seconds increasing to 10 seconds.
Saturday: Tropical storm conditions expected. Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Seas 20 ft with occasional seas up to 26 ft subsiding to 8 ft with occasional seas up to 10 ft. Dominant period 8 seconds.
Saturday Night: WNW wind 5 to 15 kt becoming NNW after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 kt. A chance of showers, mainly before 8pm. Seas 4 to 6 ft with occasional seas up to 8 ft. Dominant period 7 to 8 seconds.
Sunday: N wind 5 to 10 kt becoming ENE in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas 3 to 4 ft with occasional seas up to 5 ft. Dominant period 7 seconds.
Sunday Night: Variable winds 5 kt or less. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Seas around 2 ft.
Monday: SE wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8am. Seas around 2 ft.
Monday Night: S wind around 10 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2am. Seas 2 to 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft.
Tuesday: SW wind around 10 kt becoming W in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 kt. Showers and thunderstorms likely. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft.
Tuesday Night: N wind around 15 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas around 3 ft with occasional seas up to 4 ft.
