Synopsis: An area of low pressure will travel through the coastal waters today with winds and seas increasing as a result, with advisory levels west of Apalachicola and cautionary levels east of this area to the Ochlockonee River. These levels will decrease this evening with the departure of the low pressure area but near cautionary levels will continue for the next several days.


Overnight: Variable winds 5 kt or less. Partly cloudy. Seas around 1 ft. Dominant period 5 to 6 seconds.

Wednesday: ESE wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of rain, then rain likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 8am. Seas around 1 ft. Dominant period 5 to 6 seconds.

Wednesday Night: NE wind around 10 kt, with gusts as high as 20 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas 1 to 2 ft. Dominant period 6 to 7 seconds.

Thursday: NE wind 5 to 10 kt. Partly sunny. Seas around 2 ft. Dominant period 7 seconds.

Thursday Night: E wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Friday: E wind 5 to 10 kt. Showers likely. Seas 1 ft or less.
