Synopsis: Long period swells from a distant, but deep low pressure system off the New England coast will lead to building seas this weekend. Offshore waves are expected to build to 4 to 6 feet on Saturday night, 5 to 7 feet Sunday through Monday night, finally beginning to lower around Tuesday. Otherwise, local high pressure will keep winds light this weekend outside of our daily seabreeze circulation. Around Tuesday, winds from the south will increase ahead of an approaching frontal system. Chances for showers return on Sunday and chances for thunderstorms return Tuesday.
This Afternoon: ESE wind around 7 kt. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft.

Tonight: SE wind around 7 kt becoming SW after midnight. Mostly clear. Seas around 2 ft.

Saturday: WSW wind 6 to 9 kt becoming ENE in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas 1 to 2 ft.

Saturday Night: E wind 6 to 9 kt. Increasing clouds. Seas around 2 ft.

Sunday: E wind around 9 kt. Mostly cloudy. Seas around 3 ft.

Sunday Night: SE wind 7 to 9 kt. Partly cloudy. Seas around 3 ft.

Monday: SE wind 5 to 8 kt. Mostly sunny. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

Monday Night: S wind around 9 kt. Partly cloudy. Seas around 3 ft.

Tuesday: S wind around 9 kt. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
