Synopsis: Long period swells will propagate into the local Atlantic waters today through Monday then gradually diminish. This will produce hazardous conditions for small craft near inlets during the outgoing tide. High pressure will move off the Carolina coast this weekend then east over the Atlantic and drag a trailing ridge axis south across the local Atlantic waters. This will veer wind flow out of the south Tuesday then southwest to west Wednesday and Thursday.


This Afternoon: NW wind 5 to 10 kt becoming ENE. A chance of showers, mainly after 2pm. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Tonight: E wind 5 to 10 kt. A chance of showers. Seas around 4 ft.

Monday: E wind 10 to 15 kt. A chance of showers. Seas around 4 ft.

Monday Night: E wind around 10 kt. Partly cloudy. Seas around 4 ft.

Tuesday: SE wind 5 to 10 kt. Mostly sunny. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Tuesday Night: SSE wind around 10 kt becoming SW after midnight. Partly cloudy. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday: W wind 5 to 10 kt. Sunny. Seas 1 ft or less.

Wednesday Night: SW wind 5 to 10 kt becoming W after midnight. Mostly clear. Seas 1 ft or less.

Thursday: W wind 5 to 10 kt. Sunny. Seas around 2 ft.
